Marie's Gingerbread Shop does not add peanuts to any of the ingredients used in our gingerbread. We do not allow peanuts into the area where the gingerbread is made, nor do our machines, table tops and ovens come in contact with peanuts. Our employees are very mindful and cautious to the "no peanuts" rule as many of them have children who are extremly allergic to peanuts. We also do not buy ingredients that contain peanuts.
We cannot be responsible for any contamination or cross-contamination that takes place prior to our receiving the products.*
(Examples of this may include-contamination that takes place when the manufacturer transports the products to stores, contamination during the creation of the products, or in any other situation where peanuts may have contacted the products). Therefore, the product may have come in contact with peanuts. As with any allergy please be cautious at all times.
